Snowing Like Mad In Idaho

I picked up my load in Richland, WA this morning and set out hoping to make it to deliver in Minnesota Friday afternoon. My hopes were quickly dashed by the time I reached the Idaho panhandle.

It was snowing like mad and the forecast indicates it will do so until late tonight. No way I was going to try and get across 4th of July Pass or Lookout Pass in these conditions.

Guess I'll be delivering on Monday.  I shot these photos about an hour ago and at least another inch and a half has fallen since then.

HI Mason,  We just came back from a cruise into NYC Sunday,  My daughter checked the flight back to Burlington Vt on Saturday and found out it was canceled  She quickly got checking and rented a car for the next day.  My sister had to go  to Rochester NY so she booked an Amtrack seat for her.  We Drove north just as the storm was coming in and made it north with no trouble.  Another New Year's eve party at Knitting Help planned.  Come join us.  :sun:

After our Christmas storm (did not get much down here), the weather got nice around here.  It is supposed to stay nice until next week.  I guess this is our break from the coldest December in modern times.  Where is global warming when you need it? ;)
