They have nuclear power plants on destroyers already. The larger ones are supposed to be in the 500MW range for thermal energy. They lose a hellish amount on the conversion to electrical, but they can probably already fire that sucker on the typical nuclear destroyer without any trouble at all. It's a given on the super carriers, they're supposed to have been designed with one in mind to start with.
