1.09v CTD

  Thanks for doing this, checking it out now (meanwhile the smart people will check it out in the morning).

  You look like you are using a custom faction.  Could you do me a huge favor and start a new game with a standard sovereign, faction, no custom unit designs, no mods and see if you have the same issue (just because it have been so reproducable for you).

Sure thing. Just to note though.. I haven't seen another crash since this one in 1.09V. Where as in 1.09u after the first crash it was like clock work.

Alright here we go.. default faction units etc.

It went Quite awhile without a crash (bout an hour).. the only thing i did different from normal OTHER than default everything is i waited awhile to propose and get a spouse. Few turns after first child was born crash. Coincidence? probably, but i figured it was notable because the game that was crashing alot in U i was pumpin kids out like crazy.

Anyway enough speculation heres the dump file im calling it a night.

I noticed the Err file still references my custom faction at the beginning, took me a minute to realize i  exited my custom game and started a new one without restarting elemental. If this causes any question ill delete user files and start a pure default game tomorrow and post the dump.

Side note on custom factions etc. I remove all user files before each update and remake them with the newest version, so version conflicts on custom stuff shouldn't be an issue.

Interesting...whatever battle occured at the end of your debug.err file is causing a city to change hands, which is then causing a random crash when clearing the unit queue.  We'll keep investigating! Thanks Fistalis!

As expected my speculation is totally off base

When trying to load the autosave from the game i'm getting a run time error.

So looks like that test game is dead in the water.

Was using custom faction sov and units again so bleh.

I guess if i start another game ill remove all custom stuff and try with default.

Whatever this issue is.. its  a game killer.. not only CTD but ruins the autosave.

Previous autosave is corrupted as well.. so no idea when the save corrupting issue started or if its even related to the CTD.

Quit testing after this issue popped up. All in all only spent a few hours testing this version..an hour or 2 last night and about the same today.

I'll try to spend more time on W.
