While I have been a lurker at the TES forums since Morrowind's release, we can discuss it here, too!

I am quite excited about it.   What about you fine ladies and gentlemen?

TES games are great because you can mod whatever you want into them. Unbelievably accessible.

So long as they keep it that way, the game will be an excellent base for doing practically anything. I get that haters gotta hate, but come on. BethSoft has consistently delivered a great modding framework, and that's pretty much it.

Plus NORDS. I fully expect to enjoy playing a beer drinking wilderness man.

I always play a Nord. Can't beat beer&beard.

And Max von Sydow doing the narrating. Awesome.

No crossbows?  How am I to kill vampires? Oh good they added garlic!

That was my first mpression of Oblivion.

That was a subtle hint that the game is more fun if you become a vampire. I guess it was a little too subtle

Actually I was noting how much fun the vampire quests were in III as compared to the futile quests in IV. Also, it seemed like a great opportunity to have a vampire hunter story that was sorely overlooked.

Some great mods for III really expanded the Vampire stuff into it's own Guild-like story and quests.  IV's treatment of Vampires was lacking.

vampires, I was pissed they didn't bother expanding necromancers and necromancy...it could have been so beautiful.

Indeed.  The removal of Levitation, to accomodate the seperate cell nature of the Cities, hurt as well.  Hopefully they add some of this back in.
