About the only thing I can complain about my laptop is the crazy cursor thing. I will place my cursor, start typing, my {i don't know what you call it}

little blinking line, that tells me where I am disappears...... I have to pick up my cursor, put it back,,, annoying.    It's real touchy to. Not used to 

that.  Otherwise it's all that. 

The one annoying thing about laptops has always been the cursor/mouse pad thingy. IMHO

That thing is freakishly awesome, actually.  Except the scrolling.  That needs work.  Bad.

I use a separate mouse but it still happens. A lot less though.

Yeah and $20.00 get's me an extend cd drive, so no prob there about not having one built in.   

Might want to try this.  If you're on Windows, go into the control panel, under the hardware and sound section there should be an option for mouse.  Click that and in the dialogue box that pops up, go to the pointer options tab, should be the third one.  On that little page there should be a box that is checked that says 'Hide Pointer While Typing'.  Uncheck that and you shouldn't have issues with a vanishing cursor anymore.  If you still have problems with it disappearing, then there's likely a setting in whatever text program you're using that has a hide cursor option that is active.
