The REAL Chatroom

The REAL Chatroom

Or alternative Chatroom

Ok, so I decided to create a new Chatroom, because the old one was getting pretty....old!  ;P

Everyone may post here, as well as in the good'ol Flameroom...I mean, Chatroom *_*

I would like to keep this Chatroom civilized. Well, as civilized as most forum threads are (doesnt mean that you all have to be polite like Oatesy, lol).

So for this reason, I may update the OP of this thread in the future, posting certain thread rules, as I see fit.

For now though, post away, and everyone is welcome! :)

We use umbrella's as well. For shade. The clear ones are not very popular for some reason.

lol   Off to the doc's and guess what?    Rain    Your so lucky. I enjoy rain but I also enjoy pizza, but every day would be gross.....   {bad pizza}

And you are so lucky to have rain. Imagine only having pizza once every 2 to 3 months.

move to Tennessee

your least favorite color will be green

and your car will be covered in mud from the incessant, but pleasant rain.

Vancover Island, green all year round.   <3

I think sunshine is anticipated here in Manitoba because we have very little in the winter.  Even the plants grow in uber mode to grow to full potential.

Arizona has little green and little rain.

Well, it's just the most beautiful day yet I think.  Time to bring out the spf 50.

     And go on vacation......  :D

Maybe we should call it PAC, prevention apparatus cream instead. lol    Especially since your in the sun so much though the Ryat. Even more. Not that you have them but even couldy days are apparently bad..

Well I have done the research and in reality the way I do things is ironically about midline in safety. The best way to avoid sun damage is wear full clothing. And yes, some drivers do. The next is to wear sunscreen AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS CLOSELY. Then there is what I do which is just live in the sun :sun: followed by wearing sun screen but not following the directions. They have found that when you don't follow the directions properly the chemicals used break down and then increase the damage done to your skin drastically. You don't notice if you are in the sun only an hour or two but being in the sun for 9 to 10 hours is bad. Finally there is tanning beds. Enough said there I think. Ironically the last two points are the biggest contributors to skin cancer.

Well I am guilty of tanning booths...  <3 'd it.   Headphones, fan on, heat of the lights, and I'd nod off.... hahaha  Zen man.

But that was the naive me, I would never do that today.  And so your saying your getting thick skinned from the sun aye?  I do know it's the kids that really have to worry. I personally think the sun is hotter. Just sayin.   >_>

Some of it is genetics. Both my wife and I have Native American blood in us that helps. As for the sun being hotter, not really. Its more of an issue of the atmosphere being changed then anything else.

Quoting Ryat, reply 2849

End of Ryat's quote

I concur. Which makes the sun hotter.  ;)   And I must use this stuff.  You can't always get what you want, someone said.
