WindowBlinds for restricted users

WindowBlinds can't be used by users with restricted rights

Hi,

I've installed WindowBlinds 4-Trial on WindowsXP with my account. I changed my user account to restricted rights, logged out and logged in again. But when I logged in, my desktop was changed to classic view. I could change to my preferred desktop theme, but after restarting my computer it was set back to classic view again.

I also saw this topic here (http://www.google.de/url?q=https://forums.stardock.com/65706&sa=X&rct=j&ei=xtPzTJSNK8ftObPF5dQK&ved=0CCsQrAIoAzAB&usg=AFQjCNEOMlz1nVzigIbMko2dTbfjdk4FIw&cad=rja) but it was created for Win2000, so I created a new thread.

Is there any possibility for restricted users, to provide WindowBlinds with storing all the settings they made?

Windowblinds 4?!  Where in the world did you download THAT ancient thing from?  I hope you wore latex when you downloaded it, because I'm positive there was a lot of dead and rotting things in that area.

Treat yourself and buy a copy of Windowblinds 7, which is on sale right now at the super low price of $15.95!  http://www.impulsedriven.com/wb7

Life is too short to put up with the frustration of dealing with outdated, and probably pirated software.

I don't know anymore, where I got it from, but since I refresh my copies of my DVDs every 2 years, I am equipped quite good with old software. But back to my question: Would a new release solve my problems?

Sorry for poor  English, it's not my native language O:)

Yes. You need to uninstall all of what you have (including the registry values) with something like CCleaner, and then install Impulse and install whatever software you purchase using Impulse.

It's weird, but today it's working without any changes. Thanks for your interest and help.
