It's only rain people!

Argh, the traffic this a.m. was a complete and total pain in nether-regions.  Because the sky was falling in little droplets of water apparently most of the drivers in the region experienced amnesia and completely forgot how to drive.  A commute that was supposed to have taken me about 20 minutes at worst wound up taking over an hour of incredibly frustrating snail's paced driving, all while my lifetime traffic monitoring GPS and local radio stations seemed completely oblivious of any issues on the route.  Oh, they were aware of the traffic problems on main routes, and yeah, I guess I should have been assuming that the issues on the main route would mean alternate routes would get cluttered and clogged, but it really shouldn't have been anywhere near as bad as it was.

I have plans for the evening that require me to run around quite a bit, and I really hope that the traffic problems of this morning are not going to ruin the evening.  If the traffic is bad tonite, I'll probably start what should be an enjoyable evening in a heckuva foul mood, and I really don't want to do that.

Hopefully the evening will go well, though I have a question outstanding for the facility where I'll be headed and I'm waiting impatiently for an answer from them.  They promise to update information online, but seem to be lagging on delivering on that promise.  Perhaps the employee that is responsible for that is stuck in traffic. :%
