Proving my own incompetence or lack of coordination
First, a moment of silence in honor of Moderateman. While he may have asked for nothing, I still think he deserves it, and find the news of his passing sad. I hope his passing means his Earthly pains have been lifted, as I know he was burdened by same, but I'm saddened that he left behind a loved one that I know will miss him terribly.

Now, while I have an instant to type out a few quick words, I must admit to proving my own incompetence over the last 24 hours. I bought myself a copy of Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock. Boy, do I stink at it. I knew in advance I'm pretty bad with games that require good eye-hand coordination, and I wasn't wrong at all. I'll plug away at it for a bit but expect to always play the game poorly. I really would like to get good enough at the game to enjoy some of the songs that are included. The list of artists that are included in the game is pretty impressive, though I don't necessarily favor all that many of the songs that were included. If I do get reasonably competent at the game, I might purchase some more songs to go with the game. Maybe ![]()
On the other hand, the other game that I had recently purchased, Call of Duty: Black Ops, continues to meet with my expectations. There are maps in the game that I truly hate, and I don't for a second claim to be all that good at the game, but I've been enjoying myself and do get in some kills along the way. More practice should equal better proficiency in that game as well.
I doubt I'll get to play many games tonite as I'm probably going to be wiped out after I get home from training. I'm in class all week, with a long drive to get there, and a long drive to get home from same. Tomorrow I've also got an evening event lined up that means even more running around which will likely leave me completely exhausted on Wednesday. Fun, fun.
