Back In Black!

Hello Everyone!  I've been away for so long and I'm sorry about that.  It has been a crazy past couple months.  My husband and I are just getting adapted to our new job, and things are just now starting to settle down enough for me to have some spare time.  I have so much to tell you all about, but I don't even know where to start or what you will be interested in hearing.  

We lived in Arizona from August to October and it was fabulous!  I loved it there so much!  It was so beautiful, but the weather was a bit too hot for me.  My husband even got too hot there, which is saying something because he never gets hot.  He even bought a new indiana jones fedora hat to help protect him from the sun.  I had a fainting spell the very first week we were there, which was not fun at all.  It taught me to stay hydrated though.  My favorite pastime out there was taking these kind of photos.  It was a whole different world out there than we are used to.

In mid-October we moved to Louisiana, which is where we are now.  It is just as interesting here as it was in Arizona.  I love the apartment we are living in because it is above an outdoor mall.  It is always lively and fun around here.  I love just taking walks and doing window shopping.  Halloween was fun here and I helped my home school students make halloween trick or treat bags.  I dressed up as Liz Lemon from 30 Rock .  The food here is amazing!  I love Cajun spices.  Consequently, I have made a lot of chili since I've been here lol.  I have had a lot of time to read, which has been great, and right now I'm reading Halo by Alexandra Adornetto.  I highly recommend it!  I will update you all again soon!
