create a character questions

ok so every time I try to make a character I get a response that says invalid serial key copy (ctrl+c) and advise admins.... I just want to know what it is that I am supposed to be typing in in that space to make a character.... thanks for any help you can provide

I believe the serial number is somewhere on the box. I don't have my box right now so I'm not sure exactly where.

well tried that but it says that it's the wrong serial key so I don't know what to do..... any other answers?
