Is it worth the extra money to buy desktop x pro over the version that comes in Object Desktop?

I would also like to know this. I am not sure if the names mentioned want to get a bunch of pm's on this so maybe someone could break it down for us. I did not even know there was a pro version until today. I do not mind paying for upgrades if its worth the money.

Are you going to sell or give away gadgets to folks that don't have DX?  Yes?  Get pro.  No? Don't.

The main difference between the two is the ability to make gadgets that will work on any computer without DesktopX or additional software--Pro does that, Standard does not.

 

I have friends and family that use the apps I make, but they don't have DesktopX, so Pro was the way to go.
