Darned advertisers
One of the most frustrating things for me, and apparently also for my daughter, is when an advertisement comes up for something that just can be found in stores. I've seen it before and hate it. I experience it with movies that are advertised weeks before they'll ever be released to theatres (by which time I've grown bored with the trailers and advertisements and decided that because I had to wait so long after the ads started airing that I absolutely will not let the studio have my money). I've experienced it with food items and, as in this case, candy items.
Ah, yes, my sweet tooth, and my daughters, has been piqued (is that the right word?) by ads for Butterfingers Snackerz. We've seen a boatload of ads, but haven't seen the product in the stores. Except, well, when I check the website for the manufacturer and try to see where I should be able to get product, I should be able to get it at the food store I was at earlier this afternoon. I hadn't gone down the candy aisle so I missed it (apparently).
There's another local store that should also have what we're looking for, and I may run there shortly. If I am able to bring some of these into the house it'll surprise my daughter and perhaps satisfy both of our sweet tooths ![]()
