And we fall on into November...

I've written before, long ago it seems, about how I enjoy the fall season and seeing the autumn colors in the leaves on the trees.  This year the fall colors are out in full force and thankfully the windy weather seems to be holding back for a little while to give everyone in my area a chance to enjoy the foliage before everything is shaken from the trees.

I know that eventually those leaves will drop and I'll be unhappy having to rake up a big pile of leaves in my yard, but for now I'm going to enjoy the beautiful colors while I can, even as I add an extra layer of clothing so I can keep warm.

We experienced a fairly dry end of summer, so leaves turned and fell early.  In fact, almost all our raking is done.  WOOT!

But I love autumn hues.  My house is done in the sage green, burnt umbers, and brilliant reds of fall.

Fortunately for me, ours have just started to fall (I reseeded my lawn in early September and just got back from a 2 week vacation).

It is a late fall here.
