Faulty memory kicks in, maybe...
I do remember one of the things I had slated to get done tomorrow... go pick up a package at FedEx store that I wasn't home to sign for on Friday when the first delivery attempt occured. That's one of two things I think I was planning on doing, but I've completely forgotten what the second thing I was going to do was ![]()
Gah! getting old and forgetful stinks. Seriously, I wish I could think of what I was trying to get done tomorrow, but it completely escapes me right now. I may remember it tomorrow, but hard to say for sure.
Meanwhile the puppy had successful surgery and is recuperating from same. She does not look all that happy with the lampshade collar. We figured she would hate it and she does. She has tried to get it off a few times, rubbing her head on the floor, pushing against the playpen/cage walls, etc. She finally seems resigned to the idea that it will stay there for a while. She was resting on my chest a little bit ago, but I was falling asleep in my chair and got back up to put her back in her play area so I wouldn't drop her out of my lap accidentally.
The kitten will have the same experience in a few weeks. I'm sure she won't be happy about it either, but as with the puppy, no way we want to have a bunch of little kittens in the house. We may love our pets, but we don't need more. With the cat, well, she's an indoor cat, so it shouldn't be an issue, but if she were to get outside and take a while to find, well accidents could happen and I'd rather be safe then sorry with my families pets.
I'm gonna get ready to get some sleep soon. Even though I'm not remembering what I wanted to get done tomorrow *yet*, hopefully I'll remember in the a.m. and get everything done that I wanted to/needed to.
