Totally useless...

Hey everybody...

 

In the past four weeks of frustration (and a lot of time and money) I did get several bits of feedback, all telling me to contact Stardock...

Not good:  I don't really think these three companies (Stardock, Impule or Paradox) can fix the activation problem.  I  think we're all out of luck.

OK, a tad more info would be nice if you need help. If you just wanna complain, this is the wrong department.

What are you having trouble activating? When did you buy it? Are you installing it with Impulse?

Thank you for sharing that, but I don't think this is the right place. You're setting yourself up for a barrage of comments as you see!

OK - intersting response(s).

First - did anyone notice the dozen (or more) impluse-paradox-stardock forum and other website complaints about unbelievable difficulties with acdtivation of EIC?  Apparantly Stardock support did not.  Perhaps you others didn`t either.

I did manage (once) to activate EIC last week, after having tried to contact all three support groups for over a month (another common complaint).  But after trying to load it on my new computer - same error message, despite having Impulse and Stardock accounts open AND EIC apparantly successfully registered.

I don`t really HAVE a question (anymore) - but I have been pleading with the three companies to FIX THIS PROBLEM - a problem they do admit exists.

So if there is a question, it`s this:  how do I activate this game (hopefully without trying to download any more junk or contacting any more `helpful` support  groups?

For one thing there is only 1 company and it is called Stardock.  Impulse is the central place to download and update the products sold by Stardock.

If you are having issues activating something that you purchased from Stardock then you need to send an email to [email protected] and start a trouble ticket.

OK, interesting counter response.

First, you'll notice that the responses came from a non-gaming site. WinCustomize.com.  You'll need to elaborate on what EIC is, if you want help from us.

B: If you want direct support from Stardock/Impulse I suggest you shoot an email to [email protected]. (BTW Impulse isn't a company, it is an application made by Stardock)

 

3: This is a user based support forum. Most responses you'll get here are from members/users. We need more information in order to help you.

Anything involving account and activation issues are pretty much impossible to take care of on a public forum, as it generally involves personal information.  Shoot an email to [email protected] and we'll try to get this sorted out.
