Admin when are you gonna add more skinnable apps to this site?

I think right now we are looking at holding off adding any new applications. As we have stated before we primarily only want to support the more popular applications. Part of the reasoning behind that is we want to keep the site from getting cluttered with too many applications.

A new user visiting a skinning site for the first time can be quite overwhelmed if the site has too much going on. So we are trying to becarefull with that and keep the site lean.

However we will probably be taking the DesktopX section and breaking it up into two sections, themes and objects.

Plus there is the bandwidth cost issue which is one of the overriding issues in the near term.

In the longer term, assuming that the site can pay for the bandwidth, we'll be letting users pick which sections they see. By default, the top dozen or so section will be displayed and registered users can then select from a more full list. But that is down the line.
