Can not get Fences_Public installed

Error message during the install says MS Netframework 2.0 is required. I then downloaded and installed this program -rebooted and tried again to install Fences but get same error message. several more attempts got same result  ???

Could you tell us more about what kind of system you're running on?  What version of Windows, etc...

32-bit or 64-bit?

Download the following utility: http://sd.stardock.com/ken/netfx_setupverifier_new.zip

After it downloads, extract the contents of the .zip and run netfx_setupverifier.exe

When the program opens, select '.NET Framework 2.0' and then click the verify button. It will give you a result of the condition of .NET. Click in the dropdown box and select '.NET Framework 2.0 SP1' and then click the verify button.  Let us know what the results are.

Windows Update  says i need Hight Priority Update  Net Framework 3.5 , Ser.Pk 1- AND Net Framework 3.5 Family Pack Update for Ver 2.0 thru 3.5

(KB951847)X86...-   and that these must be installed seperately. then i need to check for other possible updates.

      I'll report back after i finish this process.......
