Well I procrastinated long enough. Hopefully some of you still looking for a team

I'm looking to have fun in this tourney and not take it too serious. I can step it up if the games do get serious but still just looking to have fun. The prospect of having 20-30 good games to actually play sounds awesome.  I am a decent player. I play assasins. DA-my Fav,Good-UB good-Rook, ok-TB, ok-Reg(Usually win with reg but still havent put much time into him). I was really hoping to defend the honor of the DA and play him alot because he's just been getting a bad name lately, but who knows. I have been seeing some of his weaknesses now that the better players are coming out.  I don't really play any generals. Other than that I'm just looking for other people who are pretty good but not guna go crazy if we lose. Oh and someone who will buy currency. Hah.

Don't have vent but would like to get on there if someone would explain what is required.

I usually play week nights 11pm or 12am EST time to maybe 2 or 3am EST time. I think thats 23:00 EST to 03:00 EST. Available weekends 5pm to 2am EST.

Let me know.

Anyone else looking for a team feel free to post here.

OK, its me and beckad1(aka. prozombe) looking for a 3rd. I've played a few games with him. If I can recall he prefers to play mostly assasin but is able to play general. So I'm thinking we need a general for our 3rd or whatever just need a 3rd then we can work it out.

I know I saw a few others looking for a 3rd. Post your incomplete teams here and maybe we can get some last minute teams together.

download the appropriate client depending on what type of operating system you have - 32 bit or 64 bit

Once intalled

Click the arrow next to user name and put your name in there

Click the arrow next to server and put the following info in:

 

Server name:  Lagwards

Hostname or IP:  Oxygen.typefrag.com

Port Number:  50216

 

there's no password or default channel

Check all of the boxed below default channel

Click OK

 

Now click on setup on the right

I like to push a key when i want to talk.  It really helps if i want to say something dirty to my wife. 

I prefer caps lock since it isnt used by any game.  The only downfall is TYping WHile TALKINng.

 

For now just follow suit.

Make sure that there is a check next to:

ENable OUtgoing communitactions

Use Push to Talk

Use direct input to detect hotkey

(the last two arent checked)

click in the hotkey box then just hit the caps lock key

 

On the right select your output device (speakers)  i like to check the direct sound

Input device - select whichever port you have your microphone plugged in - typically microphone (i dont use direct sound for this)

Ignore hardware input for now

Leave outbound to 0 until told otherwise

set inbound to 2 or 3

ignore everything else for now. and click OK at the bottom

Theoretically you should be good to go, click connect, scroll down until you find a name you are familiar with.

If the channel is password protected right click someones name, go to user, private chat

this will enable a chatbox to get further assistance.

 

Also, it is very easy to have one of the two checkboxes checked at the bottom of the main screen (mute sound and mute Microphone/binds) it's also easy to overlook when trying to figure out why vent isnt working, always check there if there is a problem lol.
