Limit on skin preview?

What are the limits on skin previews? I keep on getting:
aspSmartUpload.File error '800403f2'

The file : 'C:\Program Files\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds\DigitalAge\DigitalAge.gif' is not allowed to be uploaded (Error 1010)

The file in question is an animated GIF, size 65 Kb (I tried one 46 Kb big with the same results).

I think if its a gif file, it must be 300 X 300 pixels or smaller in size. If its a jpg file and its bigger than that, it will automatically be resized to 300 X 300 by WC. But a gif file won't be accepted if its too big.

Sorry, right now I have disabled gif support (however it should be giving you a standard message instead of an error message). Gif's have been giving me a hard time with my resizing componenent so until I can get a better handle on that please upload only .gif and .jpg files.

Erm . . . assuming you meant .bmp and .jpg files.

It's exactly 300x300, in fact.
