wierd. I always thought that 'cracker' was a good joke, or something funny. It can also be used in the context of: "Whooa, that was a cracker of a shot!". Have I been mislead?

I'm reminded of a classic Jeff Foxworthy line....
"You know you're a redneck if your wife's hairdo has ever been destroyed by a ceiling fan".
Love it!

Zath,

the deragatory slang term "Cracker" is almost exclusive to the USA.

you have not been mislead, just watch the usage if you happen to find yourself in Jonesboro, Ga, or knoxville, tennessee, or Biloxi, Mississippi, or any place like that...

Fave Foxworthy:
"if your TV is sitting on a broken TV, you might be a redneck.."

I'm so behind the times I guess.
I always thought a cracker was a biscuit-like food for snacking on

OK, ISP went ga-ga...but I'm back....
'derogatory'....Spell checker

'cracker' is a dry biscuit, or even an explosive fire-work...if you are 'crackers', then you are mad...

But like a lot of words, in other parts of the globe....who knows?
Case in point....'fanny'...
