Changing pinned taskbar icons in Windows 7 with IP

How do I do it?

Ok, so I've just now for the first time installed IP since installing Windows 7.  I want custom icons on the superbar, but whenever I apply either a full iconpack, or change an individual icon, and then pin it to the taskbar, it just shows the old icon.  Is it possible to change the icons on the superbar in Windows 7?

yes it is possible, i´m not sure if is it possible with IP, but you can do it manualy.

Create Desktop Shortcut for the program or folder you want, then right click_properties-change icon, then pin to taskbar or just drag it.

That´s it.

I have Win7-64bit and IP and I always have to do the following...

- find the icon I want to change, right click, properties, change icon, find the replacement icon, apply

- right click again, pin to taskbar

When I want to change the icons on the left side of my start menu though, sometimes I have to do the first step, pin to start menu, and then open IP and apply.

karmat, that's exactly what I was doing... it wouldn't work.  PianoArt's idea with the shortcut worked fine though... so I'm good.  Thanks folks!
