Thanks for the update on the update. LOL Is Impulse geared as well for IE9 as well now?

"advanced glass support" - feature-parity with the msstyle hackers - this could be big...

Are there anymore new skins in addition to "Precision"?

I get an "error retreiving data" when installing the Skinstudio update. I've tried a few time with the same result, even after a reboot.

Windowblinds updated without any issues.

I did, too, but it now seems to work fine.

XP users get the Precision skin plus support for per skin colours once skins are released with that feature.

Are there any particular features you would like to see on XP?

Actually our glass sections support tiling and layers so they are somewhat more advanced.

If there was a Nobel for understated subtlety, Neil would win hands down.

Yeah that's been there a while.

Still getting the error receiving data on the sks update...seems to be stuck calculating the size. Wasn't there a way to clear/refresh the cache or something like that?

Sweet, Firefox 4 looks good now with the beta running.  But now I have a couple of inquiries about it.

Before the WB beta, it'd look all funky and stuff with the skin interface.  This is isn't a big issue.  Adding the exe into the exception list pretty much solves that.  Since I run FRAPS for screenshots and video capturing during gaming, I noticed that the FPS counter on the corner of the window.  My guess for that is Firefox4 using the Direct2D stuff which triggered the FPS counter for FRAPS.  However, with the latest update, this is now gone.  Sure this makes the window all the more cleaner but it appears that performance also suffers as a result.

Is the performance hit due to having to force Firefox4 to draw using older methods or something?  Or is that a completely different issue?  Other than adding the exe back into the exception list, will there be a way to get the performance back as using its Panorama/Tab-Candy feels more snappier unskinned than skinned?

Toolbar text on FF 3.6,10 looks all blurry and crappy. Skype titlebar not looking right either

I'm also still seeing the error on trying to install SkinStudio (Error: Error retrieving data). No problems installing WB, apart from no longer seeing transparency for explorer wiindows (which worked fine with the prior version). Beta bugs, I guess :)

The speed of skin changes on Win7, 64 bit, is pretty awesome! Can't complain there! :)

I have the same issue.

Since this beta, in many of my WB skins the explorer backgrounds trancparency is gone.

In the preview window i can see it, but not in my folderbackgrounds.

I use Win7 64bit.

Sorry for my bad english.

The Firefox 4 beta workaround was supposed to be listed as a temp fix only.  For now we have disabled Direct2D in Firefox (but it is enabled in IE9 and Chrome 6/7).  A final solution will be implemented before Firefox 4 is released officially.

Yeah that's been there a while.

That skin has not been included with WB until now.  It also has support for the new IE9 and glass sections added to it.
