WinFX help needed please

First sorry if this isn't the correct forum for help, I'm new to the whole stardock experience. Anyway, regarding windowsFX I have two problems. One is that dragging windows in winxp doesn't work properyly, the dragged window looks piecemeal/patcheworked like blurry imporerly drawn line. This happens no matter what pattern I use for winfx dragging (sway,spin,twist etc...). I tried checking the box to make sure overlapped items were drawn correctly but still no change. Last, I can't find a windowsfx tab the display window in control panel.

Your graphics card probably doesn't support those effects or your computer is too slow. I can only use a few of the effects because my computer is ancient. Windows FX does not show up in the control panel. It works in the system tray. If it isn't there, run the program again(you can turn off the icon and sometimes on my computer it is invisible).

Fixed it, my display was set to 16bpp and when i cranked it up to 32bpp everything was fine. go figure
