Typos happen to us all. Some of us even understand the intended meaning when they do. Why not leave the corrections (when necessary) to Jafo, Jim?

Now where's the fun in that? You know I love giving you a hard time, GrandDoc! Actually, funny as it may sound, I was telling Wiz that when I corrected Jorge, I somehow mistakenly thought I was seeing your avatar and thought I was razzing you.  :P

lol Well, personally I like it when I get corrected, and keeps us on our toes. For years I was saying 'the former or the later' (made sense to me since English is not my first language), until somebody corrected me and pointed out that it's not 'later' but 'latter'. Now I don't embarace myself anymore (well, at least not with that particular word, eheh).

I think it all depends on the intention behind the correction. And here it's all in good fun, although the word 'Jafo' did come to my mind as well. |-)

In the 'no need for you to do nothing' case, it was a honest to God mistake, as I actually know the correct construction.

No, you embarrass yourself with other words now...lol.    Jorge, I'm sorry, couldn't resist...lol...all in good fun, right?

No need for you to do nothing at this point

Well, ok, but if you ever need nothing done, let me know, it's my specialty.;)

Once you are fully registered, and if you would like to try the v10.8 beta which is packed with new features (see the preview video below), head on to the Winstep forums, sign up, and apply for access to the Beta Discussion forums.

What do you mean by "sign up" and "apply for"?

I've registered and joined two groups yet I can't get access to the beta forums as it says I don't have permission. The site does nothing to explain why.

Edit: Figured it out, after a bit of help from RND and some trial and error.

A bit late, but for the benefit of others, there's a FAQ post on how to apply to the beta forums here. You need to be a registered Winstep user to have access, of course (which you now are).
