I figured it out!! But why is this happening??

I'm running the pixtudio object bar theme and desktopx with windowblinds . . . and every time I ran a 3D game and then exited back to the desktop my icons and bars were all over the place. Fortunately there were a couple that didn't move, so I checked their properties against the ones that did and finally narrowed the problem down to "docking" issues. In the relation options under "adjust position depending on screen resolution" I had "automatically" checked for the ones that moved and "dock to the left" and "dock to the top" for the ones that didn't. Switching them all to dock solved the problem, but why?

I also had to set my object bars so they are docked to the top, bottom and side, otherwise they move after running a 3D application.

Could someone explain briefly why I have to dock them?

When the game runs, it resizes your desktop. It does this to make the resolution less than the size of the game window giving you "Full Screen" in your game. Since the ones that are docked are always attached to a side they do not get affected because when your screen changes back they automaticly hug the side. The other ones though, are not designed to move back. This keep them from getting stuck off your screen when you change resolutions. Does this make sense?
