Hello, hello................ Office of Redundancy Department, here, and present.    Hello

I'm sure someone will answer your question, please be patient. I would answer, but I'm not that familiar with DX. ( I'm betting DX Objects are bitstrips of some sort )

I don't know about dx objects but in wb you need to make 'multiple frames' to do it, for example you put 5 images next to each other, and put in the code that that 1 single .bmp file contains 5 images, then it will split it in 5, and make a animated image of it... see?

first you save the gif you want to use. then if you have adobe photoshop you can open the gif. the go to layers and click on each of them. then place them next to each other. save your big image as a bmp file. then make a new object and set the number of frames, which is determined by the number of images next to each other. then check looped. hope it works!

I use old program called Bitstrip to convert animated gifs into bitmap that have all frames in either horz or vert format.

Hmm the homepage seems to be lost, but I found a download at http://www.webattack.com/get/bitstrip.shtml

on a side note, is it possible to use Adobe Image Ready to create the bmp strips? I had a go this morning and couldn't figure it out...

if not I want to thank XX for the link to Bitstrip, as I did manage to work out how to make animated gifs

Doubling up on that thank you. I just downloaded Bitstrip...a neat little program...using it with Paint Shop Pro Gif animator makes it simple to create just about any animated images.
