Howdy folks. I'm having some trouble and I was hoping you guys could help. I can't for the life of me figure out how to build a boat. I've got my harbor built, but I can't find the command anywhere. My kingdom is huge...far bigger than any game I've played yet, but I'm isolated on a big island at the moment. Thanks for the help!
If you have your harbor built, then you can build a Transport like any other unit. Once it's built, click in the water to launch it.
Thanks for the reply AdonSage. I don't see any ships in my unit creation menu. Do I need to look somewhere else?
Which version of Elemental are you using? If you don't have the necessary resources to build a ship, it will show up as grayed out on the unit training menu.
I had a similar problem the first time that I built a harbor. I assumed that it would show up as a unit to train, but it never did. I tried to design a new one looking for a "boat" option but couldn't. So I assumed it was bugged and gave up on it.
In a recent game I built another harbor and was immediately able to train Transports.
Maybe a save/load would have fixed it? I don't know, but I've definitely had the same issue.
Had that problem in 1.0.6 Built the harbor, could not build transports, fixed after I reloaded the game..
We need more ship units. Also need seamonsters/ pirates/sea-raiders etc. The oceans are very dead in this game. Please devs give some loven to the oceans
