Why is Hoverdesk being ignored at Wincustomize.com?

Well, it's a bit complicated. This site is owned and funded by Stardock, the makers of Windowblinds, DesktopX, ObjectBar and a host of other apps. HoverDesk is created by another company and is a direct competitor of Stardock (notably with ObjectBar and portions of DesktopX).
Since skins hosting is a form of product support and promotion, it makes little sense that Stardock would pay for HoverDesk's promotion and skin hosting.

So, I wouldn't say HoverDesk is being ignored, just handled appropriately in a business sense. BTW, I'm one of HoverDesk's developers and we completely understand Stardock's position.

Your best source at the moment for HoverDesk themes is

What about all the other non-Stardock application-skins featured here???
Ain't they "promoting" non-Startdock products?!?! (OK not in direct competition, but anyways....)

With the exception of NextStart, they're all freeware applications of different ilk than SD apps. HoverDesk is shareware, limited to a free 30 day evaluation. Registration is comparable to both SD apps and NextStart (20.00).

NextStart's inclusion is a bit if an enigma to me. Beyond being a pioneer skinnable product and thus having gained the respect of Stardock's decision making staff, it's a mystery. I haven't visited Winstep.net in a while, maybe there's a symbiotic exchange somewhere I'm unaware of.
