Mini dump ?

amazing game . . . :( deleting it.

Hello

Okay. . .
Thank you for that solo game. I liked to play some game with an idiot computer and cheated pirates you never fixed :(
After all, i just waited a year, after reading on the forum about bugs and bugs and bugs. To be sure when i buy it, most of them will be fixed and i will be able to enjoy and have fun.

Now today, i wanted to play my first and sadly, my last online game in a 1vs1 ( i was losing bad ). But what, i got a mini dump in a 1vs1.

Okay . . .
On my side:
QuadCore Q6600
8800 ultra, latest driver
4go ram
Windows 7, latest update, including direct x.

Any recent game made by recent company i buyed work.
Like Starcraft 2, Dragon Age, Bioshock, Fallout 3. Sometime i got some problems but they fixed them in the updates.

I see no reason on my side to be unable to play a 1vs1 online game in Sins.
Sorry to ask, but i am mad now and have you tested the game ? Do you care about your client ? Because sadly, after so much time i waited to buy it, i am really to the point people on the forum are right saying you are left the game alone.

I lost my money on that one :( dam.
Nice support . . . or no support recently at all with the cheated ( edit: i wanted to say INVINCIBLE ) pirates, the bugs we can read that are remaining and now what ? I can't enjoy playing a single first game on 1vs1 online. I created my online account for what ? And i wont tell what i think of you forcing us to download that *** of Impul** to get the update. ERFF man. It's fix nothing as i can see.

All that time, lost.
Anyway, there is some amazing games that await me in Starcraft 2, bye bye and have fun.

Was the first time i buy something from you, and be sure about that, it was the LAST.
It's exactly like Ubiso**, they build a game, sell the beta, get people angry, put little time to fix the bugs, and then Quit the projet to build an another game, leaving people with a bugged game they paid for and nevers really able play it like it's supposed to be. That's nice to make money, but clients ? One time only.

PLEASE, IF YOU ENJOY SINS AND DONT HAVE THIS OR THESES PROBLEMS, sorry. I am happy for you, but i see no reason this game no able to work correctly when all my others games can be played correctly. I WISH YOU FUN AND MAYBE ONE DAY GET AN UPDATE FOR THE REMAINING BUGS, but i think you will wait for long :P I wont.

Bye

terrible way of dismissing criticism

for the sake of consistency, laudatory threads should be met with equally indifferent and snide replies

looks like this game's playerbase is dragging itself down

Honestly any valid criticism there might of of been is thrown out by the lack knowledge about the Developers or  the amount of patches this game has had.

Ok, sure its not perfect. You name me a game that is? The OP mentions Starcraft 2, Dragon Age, Bioshock, Fallout 3. They still have problems. Maybe not for the OP anymore b/c of a patch, but still have problems. Heck Dragon Age has trouble on my computer.

I take any rant like post. With a grain of salt. B/c in the world of PC gaming no game will be flawless.

It is yes. But the OP put forth a terrible form of criticism. Many of us have our criticisms of this game, and have stated them quite loudly. At the same time, we have given much thought and research to help improve this game to better it for others. As -Ue_Carbon put forth, this person shows absolutely no research in how much time and effort that the devs have put forth to fix the game to the level that it is now. Sure the current rate of support is sadly lacking, but considering we have had almost 3 years of consistent support, even acknowledgment of user complaints (they even used a thread that examined and studied any and all the bugs/imbalances that were occurring then) shows that this game is heads and shoulders above some of the companies that he lumps Stardock with. True, Ironclad is no Blizzard. Its too small. This is its first game. It doesn't have the millions of dollars to set up a dedicated team to fix every problem that currently exists. And as was once again put forth, many of the games that he mentions have their own issues. Has he even come forth with questions, as have others, about how to fix the minidump problem? Or even why it occurs? That is why I said what I said. He shows no commentary beyond his own selfish complaints. No regard for the hours spent fix the many many bugs this game has had. He doesn't even try beyond the first game. He just ups and quits. So I say to him.

Have a good day sir. We don't need you here.

Minidumps happen sometimes.  Not all the time or even most of the time, but sometimes.  I think it's down to about 5% of my games now.  It's worth putting up with it in order to enjoy this awesome game.

I hope you'll stick with it and give it a try again.  Make sure you've spent a couple weeks playing it in single player before venturing online because this game has a learning curve.  You'll probably be better off playing in larger team games where you can get advice from allies and have a chance of starting out in a safe eco spot, just tell them that you're new to online play.

Any type of game that has a mass amount of players, a mass amount of data, or any amount of updates is going to have a bugs.

There is not anyway to get around this unless someone creates tests and sets the game to be a stand alone game.(No online, no multi player. Even then my money is on that there would be at least one patch.

As for your computing power I can't say much as I am not an expert on hardware and I don't want to make you think that. But your components seems like they should run the game just fine.

That is not exactly the best reply.  I've not spent a lot of time playing Diplomacy until the last three days, being home sick does that.

Everytime I start a game, I end up with it crashing in the middle of a big battle.  MiniDump.

Yeah, its the current memory module. The devs have recently stated that they will be attempting to fix it as best as they can.

OP's computer stats have nothing to due with online play.  Tell us your internet connection OP.
