I do not understand how to make the skins from this site work with windowblinds...

Okay, I really want one of these OSX skins, anyone will do (sorry PC'ers, I am a dyed-in-the-wool Macintosh Fan for life ). However none of the skins on this site seem to work with Windowblinds 4. I am using XP professional, if that matters.

perhaps... but none of the files in the D/L appear to have the correct extension. I wonder though, being completely new to this (I actually discovered it only 5 hours ago!), if there is a particular install proceedure involved....

Okay, I seemed to have figured it out... Apparently d/l skins from the links on the right does not work properly. I d/l the same skins from the windowblinds list, and they installed just fine. It seems as if the links to the right simply d/l the files. Where as the lists actually run an installer.

I know what it is, most artists pack their skins in a .zip file, when you open it you can find the windowblind file.

Actually most skins should have a .wba extenstion, which should be automatically installed after download (at least it is for me). If its a .zip extension it just has another step to it usually.
The download link on Wincustomize is fairly easy to locate usually, not sure where you went wrong by your desciption, but glad to see you figured it out.
