Well you have different sizes for different size monitors. The basic sizes are.

800x600
1024x768
1280x960

Shapes of monitors are changing also so other sizes are starting to get popular also.

1200x900
1600x1200

I'm sure there are more.

Skinners are not expected to make walls of every different size. Most go with the size they themselves use and then maybe one above or below that size. Or both. Depends.

Oops, I made an error. Deleted a remark, but added the following:

Some laptops use 1400 x 1050.

OK. I think I now have the correct correction.

1200 x 900 may exists, but I have never seen it.

A very common one is 1280 x 1024. Much more common than 1280 x 960.

Although it is common the resolution is odd. It is one of the few resoltutions that doesn't have a 4:3 aspect ratio. Instead it is using 5:4.

800:600=4x200:3x200=4:3
1024:768=4x256:3x256=4:3
1280:960=4x320:3x320=4:3 (Less common)
1400:1050=4*350:3*350=4:3
1600:1200=4*400:3*400=4:3
But
1280:1024=5*256:4*256=5:4 (More common)

Yes. I was comparing 1280 x 1024 (more common) to 1280 x 960 (less common). Sorry about the confusion.
