Cloth map for tactical battles?

Any chance of getting a cloth map version of tactical battles put in? It would help out those people who have some issues with the 3-D version and do away with those ridiculously slow combat animations.

I would like this too. Not because I have issues with the 3d, just because I like the cloth map.
