[UI]Speed up tactical combat

I'm sure this has already been suggested but I looked through the Master List of suggestions & couldn't find it.

Can we just get a checkbox or slider in the Game Options that will let us speed up animations in tactical?

[ ] Regular speed

[ ] Fast

[ ] No animation (e.g. units just "teleport" to the square without any animations)

I just find the animations too slow!  What's frustrating is sometimes (unpredictably) they move much faster.

Oh, it's being suggested at least once every two days. =)

And will continue to be until we can speed up the !@#$(&@# tactical battles.

:) Good I'm glad they're hearing it.  I like this game but the slow-ass tactical combat is killing me!  (And just auto-resolving seems to mean your Sov will always fire off his most mana-expensive spell, even if it's just against a lvl 1 Darkling.)+

This, so true. I hate auto resolving because of exactly that, that mana I was building up over the turns will slowly go down and down. And especially if you're playing on the cloth map only, because my graphics card in this laptop is not so strong, coming to a tactical battle (which is laggy already) and having to watch those slow animations ... And even if you turn off spell effects, you still have to wait for that delay that would have been there if the spell effect had gone off!

is it just me or is this not on the list for 1.08?

i give up.  game is unplayably tedious without this.    I hope everyone else enjoys waiting for this game to be finished.  i am just going to call it a loss.  peace out yo.

Yes please! Once you've gone through you're 200th battle, you really just want those animations to go faster. That includes attacks and deaths, not just movement.

Yes.
