Hello, the Elemental Destiny Ember has arrived to my home. In the last page I have found a 12 digit code. How can I redeem it?
Thanks in advice!!

What is the bonus content?
I would like to know what it is as well. This should have been advertised better. Might up its sales if we know what it is.
Right now you get.... a 'coming soon!' screen.
But down the road, released in piecemeal, will be character models based on those in the book and mini-campaigns related to the book's story.
Maybe once the stuff is released I might get the book. Ill wait and see.
Thanks!
The bonus content is listed as follows:
Elemental: Destiny’s Embers Character Pack (Xander, Geni, Nym, Galor, Ambrose, Mirdoth, Calis) [SOON]
Elemental: Destiny’s Embers MAP Pack [COMING IN SEPTEMBER]
Elemental: Destiny’s Embers: Part 1 – Xander & Geni [COMING OCTOBER]
Elemental: Destiny’s Embers: Part 2 – Calis & Tandis [COMING NOVEMBER]
Elemental: Destiny’s Embers: Part 3 – Nym & Talax [COMING DECEMBER]
So new sovereigns, maps and some campaigns come Christmas it seems.
Mah book just arrived. Got it as a wedding present. Hehe.
I think Brad said that you can actually use the codes later this week to get the first bit of dlc. I don't the the codes work right this second.
They did for me. Several days ago in fact. There's nothing to actually download yet though. All using the code does at the moment is links the 'upcoming' bonus content to your impulse account. It will probably be a week before you actually can access anything new.
Cool beans , more content the better! ![]()
Ah - gotcha. So you can register the code now, but you won't get anything until its available.
If you look over here: http://frogboy.impulsedriven.net/article/395777/Elemental_v108_preview you'll see that some sort of DLC should be released this week for owners of the book.
Do you get this DLC when you get or have a copy of the book in EPUB format aswell? (due to the fact that the printed version is about nowhere to be found in stores in continental Europe)
Already asked this one time before, but i have yet to find an answer to that question...
Not sure. The printed version has a code printed on a label at the back of the book. You might try to search the EPub one and see if a code was placed in it.
I'd guess that it isn't in the online version of the book. I think I read somewhere that its not. Its an actual sticker on the inside back cover of the paperback - and it looks like all codes are likely unique.
You might want to open a separate post and explicitly ask that question, though - HEY STARDOCK - Do I get the Elemental DLC if I order the ePub version of Elemental - Destiny's Embers? At least that way, one of the mods is sure to see your questions - or so I'd think.

I get the impression you should shortly, but you have to notify Stardock if you got it through a source that's not listed so they can set it up.
In case you guys didn't see this yet - Froggy posted the following in a dev journal.
So, if you purchased either of those versions digitally, you should be set. If you bought it somewhere else digitally or would like to, I'd recommend contacting [email protected] and ask them if they will provide the dlc code if you purchase from X.
To go completely off topic, how was the book? A lot of game books don't work well, how does it stand up as a book?
I think the fairest assessment/comparison would be to call it fanfiction. :-/
It's not gouge your eyes out terrible like some reviews suggest... But the book does have issues.
Issues like someone taking time out to write a 'meh' book instead of giving the game a functional AI?
I'm partly kidding. About 6-8% kidding, I think.
Or they could have delayed the game till February and by all reports it still would have major issues at release. Additionally you wouldn't be able to play it right now and point out any such issues so it's a stable decent game when February does rock around.
No the book has issues with grammar and punctuation. I read one hate filled review that comment how there's an average for 3 em dashes "—" per page. When I got the book I discovered that part is actually true. They are used in a similar way to how people online who are addicted to ellipses over use them and unnecessarily use them in inappropriate places... This can be jarring but you can ignore it.
Harder to ignore are the run on sentences and paragraphs consisting of clumps of tiny sentences that repeat themselves over and over while describing something. If you ever had trouble reading 'the hobbit' because of the way Tolkien over explained everything and listed 20 types of cutlery and crockery in Bilbo's cupboard followed by 30 types of pastry and individually mentioned the colour and positions of every Dwarf's hooded cloak hanging on the coat pegs despite the fact those details had been described before for all but one of them... You will hate this book. If you are a child or you liked that kind of thing about 'the hobbit' then you will probably enjoy it.
Regardless. It's <$20 and contains a serial code for what Brad describes as an eventual expansion packs worth of DLC (Though reading the list above I'd imagine it's a small one compared to Stardock standards).
So I regisered my code, and it tells me to go to impulse where I have my game set up, but I launch the game an none of the new content is there. No maps, no characters.
Any Ideas? ![]()
Nevermind..... I restarted Impulse, and there was a icon for the Book DLC in my games tab. ![]()
