Stoke City were held to a 1-1 draw at The National Hockey Stadium in Milton Keynes yesterday, as they surrendered a one goal lead to fellow Division One strugglers Wimbledon.
The Potters raced into a first half lead through a volley from in-form midfielder John Eustace, after a Carl Asaba shot cannonned off the cross bar and back into play. Asaba again struck the bar later in the first half, which Stoke should've easily scored more goals in due to their sheer domination.
The second half was again dominated by the away team, who should have capitalized on their possession and many chances to ensure victory and qualification into the Fourth Round of the FA Cup. However, it was Wimbledon who had the last word in this cup encounter, as they struck in the 77th minute to earn a crucial replay at the Britannia Stadium.
Pulis, the Stoke manager, was obviously disappointed with the outcome of the fixture in the post-match interviews, stating that his team should have taken the spoils.

Both managers will undoubtedly be looking forward to tomorrow's FA Cup 4th Round draw to see who they will play next, should they succeed in the replay.
