Finding a Mate?

Could someone explain to me how you find a mate and have kids?

I have 4 very large cities, a massive army...and still don't know where to go to find the ladies =)

Just look for random wandering heroes of the opposite gender and recruit one of your choosing. Be warned, if she dies you can never remarry.

It's ideal to recruit an opposite gender NPC very early.  Get a weapon or summon something, win a few battles, and your reputation goes up.  You need rep level 1 (and no clue how to properly describe it or even say where you find it) to marry.  It's something that can happen very early, then you can get those kiddies squeezed out, it takes them a while to grow up to be useful.

To marry an NPC you don't have to be anywhere near them.  Just park them in your capital and when you're ready to marry, just select them, go to actions for them, and look for the golden ring icon (propose).  Babies soon follow.  Check out your dynasty under kindom info, the babies in cribs are soooo cute.  :P

do we have to park "mama" in a City or does it have to be the Capital, before kids can start popping out ?

Remember your children are more powerful if the parents are stronger. It's actually ideal to level up both your sov and his potential wife before you get married and start making babies. That way you can have powerful children.

I don't think it really matters. I end up just sending the bit...err...the lovely lady to the closest city.

She can giving birth during a military campaign, even if her husband's parked on the other end of the map.

And if you have a female sov, you can give birth right after a battle.8C
