We just had a big bout of that (mocking) during your absence. You missed it. One thing I see, is you didn't acquire a thick skin. DG is right. If you comment in a manner that disagrees, then you should be prepared to back up your position. DG didn't have to push any buttons very hard to spin you up. In fact I don't even believe he was trying. Here is some advice, take it or leave it, next time you want to comment in opposition, take a little break and think about it for a bit. Yeah, I've done that myself on occasion. Some of my worst comments have been posted when pressed for time. Part time job at $5/hr (you should sue- that is below minimum wage).  Assume at BEST 30hrs/week (you said part time).  That is $150/week, or about $7800/year.  Far below the "poverty" line in the US.  And paying for your college as well!

I don't agree with your observation of me having thin skin, but only in the sense that I know I don't normally have a thin skin. I'm just under a lot of stress and made a bad judgment call. Also, as I mentioned to doc, I have a low BS tolerance and I didn't care for his attitude. So, it was really a bad situation from the beginning, i guess.

It's under the table, and I'm working as a private tutor, 6 hours a week. I'm fortunate enough to have saved up some money, and to be receiving some financial aid. Which most of that is going towards paying for college. In fact, that's how I'm surviving right now; I'm pretty much living on the saved up money.

The job I'm doing right now really wasn't my first choice, but it's a job so I can't complain. I had been looking for work when this came along. I figured, why not? It's something coming in, and I wasn't finding work despite my diligent pursuit.

Come on you can flip burgers and do better than that, even if you can only work part-time.
