HUGE Step in the Right Direction
Frogboy, Stardock,
The last two patches have SIGNIFICANTLY improved my game's performance. My M11x is definitely churning at about 30fps on max video settings. Thank you for that. I will echo other sentiments that there should be a more thorough tutorial of all the nitty gritty as even after playing for the past few hours, I still don't REALLY know what's going on. (The same feeling I had in beta, but I just played the game to see where it was and how it was coming along, really - beta all-star, I was not) It's different enough from MOM that I can't just play it like that.
All in all, the game is in a really good place now. Squashing those remaining bugs, grammar and typographical errors and fleshing out the rest of the game will really help, too. The most important thing, however, is getting the information out there on how to really actually play. Ever consider having advisors a lot like the Civilization series has? That would help me (and others) figure out what would help at any point of the game, until we get the hang of it and can turn them off*.
Whatever I can do to help, I will. I see a huge amount of potential in this game. Thank you, Stardock and Frogboy, for providing another program that will eat my free time alive. I probably put over 500 hours in to Gal Civ 2. Maybe this will do that for me, too.
*Please include the option to turn this off, if you go this route.
