[resolved] Can't Hide HUD

from Elemental Forums

If you start a game (say a campaign) and either hit U or click HUD icon in top right corner of the screen the HUD does not disappear and/or toggle.

the Toggle City HUD button in the top right of the game window shows or hides the HUD above cities on the map.  The 'U' button is a shortcut to pressing the button.  It sounds like you were expecting it to hide something else?

Just an FYI the button title on my machine does read only "HIDE HUD (U)" on my machine so it may need to be retitled heh heh (unless your c\version is different then ours and already has the fix as it were..

Yes, sorry about that. But the previous poster has a point.
