Running out of memory

I keep running out of memory after a few turns, usually the game crashes but for the following debug.err the following happened:

I was entering a battle with 4 units against a large spider in the campaign after about 10-20 turns starting from a previously crashed autosave. The game-screen turned white and I got a message in green text saying "out of memory, stereo disabled". I was able to see what different areas that I was hovering with my mouse-cursor by reading the terrain-help but I could not see this as no graphics were being loaded. After waiting for some time, I exited the game with alt+f4.

Yeah, I ran out of memory a while ago too. 

2.8Ghz Quah Core i7

4GB RAM

5800 ATI 2GB

 

Between the horrible framerates and the Out of Memory error, I think I will stop even trying to play and just start hoping for a fix.

RudobiY: You may want to try giving your drivers a quick update. They look to be from January of this year, and some changes between their current codebase and what we're expecting may be causing issues.

With luck that'll solve (or at least minimize) the problems.

Updating drivers does not solve the problem.

Lowering the amount of stuff that is shown on screen (from 10 to 5) did fix it.
