Registration gone

from Elemental Forums

Hello Everyone,

 

something weird - I have participated in the beta since beta 2, reinstalling now and again (which sometimes removed residual bugs from previous versions). Last time I played was a few days ago when the current pre-day 0 beta was published (beta 4). Now I just wanted to install once again. The only problem is that Impulse suddenly tells me my registration is not valid. Requesting my registration info via the webpage I received all info (GalCiv, SoaSE etc.), but Elemental is not listed any longer. In the Impulse client (where Elemental was happily present ca. 30 min ago) my registration is still listed, with the email missing.

Entering the email address is not possible, since the client does not accept the registration key. I have already send a request to customer services, but was hoping someone here could just tell me it is a small, easily solved problem, so that I do not have to wait for the answer - they are bound to be stressed with the nes release, I guess....

Registrations have been deactivated until it is available for release.

will we be getting a new reg number or will the old (deactivated one) will auto-magically start working at the release time?

Your registration will be activated again, you will just need to download Elemental from Impulse when the time comes. :)

Kryo said in IRC chat that our old Keys will work once they are turned back on. We won't need new keys. It does make me wonder though if when my boxed Limited Edition comes if it will have a different key in it other then the one I have now. It's possible they took into account who was getting what and made sure the keys in our boxed versions would match the keys we already have, but that's a lot of work to do. If they did take that into account then that's very cool. :)
