Busy weekend...

It's been a busy weekend and we are really just getting started... Another concert weekend for my daughter and I.  This one more of the pop/rock nature.  So, as I catch my breat after a busy day today, I get to look to a busy Sunday.

Today was occupied with getting the puppy to the vet for her next round of shots and check-ups and such.  She seems to be doing very well, having gained a pound or so since her visit just a few weeks back.  Given that she ejected at least 3 nasty roundworms after her last visit, I expected she'd really start gaining weight and she has.  She is noticably bigger than she was when we brought her home from the breeder's, though she's still a small dog.  Just the nature of Poms.

Anyway, I had the fun of catching up on the lawn mowing tonite (evening time).  I would have done that earlier in the day but the heat was too much to make that a good move.  At least the broken air conditioner was repaired on Friday and the temps in the house got back to normal by late in the evening yesterday.  I don't tolerate heat well, preferring to stay cool when possible.  I can always put on more clothing when I'm cold, but if I'm hot and can't cool off I get pretty miserable.  My daughter seemed to be in agreement as she was pretty miserable about the heat in the house over the few days when the air conditioner was not working.

The repair for the air conditioner wasn't that expensive, but I wish we could have waited until the spring when I had been planning on replacing the furnance/air conditioning system.  I'm still planning on that if all goes well as the system that I have is functional at best, but pretty inefficient.  Just a poor design and implementation really.

Oh well, I think that's about it today.  My daughter tells me that cameras are not permitted for the venue that we're going to tomorrow so I don't think I'll get pictures.  Perhaps some on the cell phone, but who knows for sure.  Given the line-up for this show, there's probably only one act I'm even concerned with getting pictures of, but if it's not possible, it's not a problem.
