On Monday and Tuesday we’ll be on the Elemental chat channel (you can get to hit by hitting Shift-Tab once you’re in the game and going to the chat area).  There we’ll be answering questions, providing suggestions and just generally hanging out to help you get the most out of the game.

they are talking about the built in chat for impulse reactor... hit shift tab  at new game screen (or later) and then log in .. :grin:

ah sorry heavenfall, don't know for sure but i doubt it.. mostly because it seems like a good way to introduce the reactor chat system.. but I am just guessing...

Does that mean on Monday people who pre-ordered will have the game?  I can't see any other way to get into game if tried to update beta and lost it.

I wanted to ask the same question.

Release date is August 24 but there's a lot of people on thi forum talking about playing the game on monday.... why?

Elemental will be available for downloading on Monday, for people who have pre-ordered from Stardock.

To be fair, there's a lot of delicious potential for people to build there own settings here. It's a strong and versatile engine, built with modding in mind. It makes sense that people would be interested in playing with that.

Congratulations to Stardock on what looks like the most incredible pc game ever! I hope this game makes enough to warrant you guys creating numerous expansions as this game could last forever with all the modders out there!

I have one question. In a mod story, can several maps be linked in a campaign as in finishing one map that takes you to the next one?
