A little confusion on serial numbers.

The keys were disabled with the end of the beta. They should be back when we re-enable them for launch.

Any idea why my order history is only showing the purchase of the Limited Edition Upgrade and not when I ordered the original?

Probably a side effect of the disabling. You can contact support if you want to be sure but I wouldn't worry too much about it at this point.

I just got same in my Impulse account. Problem was (and rather confusing) suggests v1.0 is available to download and install now. I think cool it is early. Click - get the license and agree to it - click then message that my registration / serial number is invalid. Confusing and not cool. If it isn't available as yet no worries, I'm looking forward to playing the game but most certainly can wait a few days more.

But don't indicate on my impulse account that it is available now. Is just confusing and has me wasting your and my time emailing sales support etc.

The 1.0 install includes a forced uninstall to prevent any beta bleed-through. Disabling the keys was a one-time temporary measure to prevent unintended early access to the final testing/review builds since they had to go up in the same place, so the uninstall flag (which was a preexisting option for when we post updates) really is not designed to take into account that a registration might be gone that once was. But then again we did promise plenty of pain in the beta.

With the final release so close now, it's probably better to forget about that nasty beta version anyway.

I'm thinking about burning my "archive" of it to disk just so I can mail it to you guys when the first expansion comes out with a sticker on it that says "Remember this? :P" ....hehe.

How can I get my serial number of the 1.0 version of Elemental?

Are those of us who pre-ordered a few weeks ago (Limited Edition here) supposed to have an icon available in Impulse at this time? I'm not currently seeing anything. I hope everything is okay

allegromonkey, you will not see elemental until they release it unless you were in the beta and did not uninstall it. I have four machines that either have elemental installed or did have it installed  and I uninstalled it( the ati 64 win7 machines in particular), and I only see elemental on the machines that still have it installed.

No, you aren't. Only the people who had beta access are having the funkyness with disabled keys and update showing up. If you never had beta access, nothing should be showing up and when the game is released (whether pre-load or early launch for preorders or whatever else was mentioned as a possibility), you'll get a new email and will be able to download it

Any word on when we check our games at Stardock, the LE Upgrade shows, with no SN of course, but no listing for the original order.

You can email [email protected] so they can confirm that you still have it, but as it's friday about 3pm their time, you might not get to hear back until Monday.

That's the same thing mines doing. No worries, it's like Kryo said, it's because they disabled the keys temporarily.
