Baseball tonite, maybe...

As things currently stand, I'm planning on going out to the stadium tonite to catch some of the game there, but the weather today is being anything but cooperative and conducive to a possible baseball game.  Wet weather, in and of itself, isn't all that big a deal, but the idea of hanging around a facility with an awful lot of metal protruding into the skyline while mother nature sets of natural pyrotechnics (of a sort) doesn't particularly appeal to me.  This may be one of those times that I go to the game, grab the give away that is supposed to be available, and then turn around and head back to the parking lot just as quickly as I got there.  It's a shame really because I've not been to a baseball game since the trip to Seattle, and not to a home game since some time before that.  I'd like to see a game with my favored team, but at the same time I'd rather not be damp and miserable while doing so and I really don't want to pay for club level seats just so I can stay dry and/or climate controlled.

The work day is almost done though, and the decision on going to the game will come up quickly.  Once my iPad is finally backed up and upgraded with the latest minor update to its iOS, it'll be time to head home and then figure out whether I really want to drive down to the ball park.  Decisions, decisions.

Can I just take a nap instead?  I better not think on that too much as I've been yawning at various points throughout the day.  Having skipped the morning trip to Starbuck$ is apparently taking a toll on me. ;)

Well, I did go down to the park, but I didn't stay through the 2+ hours (give or take) of rain delay.  I picked up the freebies that I was due, bought a burger and drink, consumed those just in time to have the rains come down heavy and then when the rain let up a little headed back home where I'm now waiting another approx. 15 minutes for the game to start.  At least I'm inside and comfortable versus sitting in a seat that got soakin' wet.
