Icons wont change to the mycolors icons

I am having a problem with my icons not changing to the mycolors icons. I removed the stardock software a few months back and had to use the icon packager to restore my icons to windows default icons. Now I reinstalled the mycolors they wont change to the Corvette theme I am using. What can I do to trouble shoot this or fix?

1.  Have you rebooted since you re-installed it?  If not, try that.

2.  Which version of Windows are you running?  XPHome, XPPro32bit, XPPro64bit, Vista32bit, Vista64bit, Win732bit, Win764bit

3.  If you're on an XP, try applying the theme while on a logon with administrative rights if you're not already.  If you're on Vista or Win7, try using that "run elvevated" option or whatever it is (sorry, Vista/Win7 ignorant here)

4.  If you have Impulse loaded, right click on the MyColors app icon, select "verify installation" from the popup menu.  If Impulse tells you it's not installed correctly or needs an update, let it fix it, reboot, try again.

Any of that get it?

right click on the MyColors app icon, select "verify installation" from the popup menu.

It is now shift-right click in current version of Impulse.

We have some programs on Impulse that don't like the verify option, so we made it harder to use it if you didn't know what it would do.  As long as it's made by Stardock, though, it's safe to use (and recommended!)
