No. Eventually things will be migrated over to Python, but initially it won't be present.

Somewhat semi-off-topic, but... are there any IDEs for Python that can be considered recommendable? As one of those pesky .NET developers, I'd prefer anything that remotely resembles a contemporary version of Visual Studio (I'm looking at you, Intellisense).

I'm really, Really, hoping it doesn't take them forever to get us the proper tools we'll need. There's a large chunk of the Dragonlance Mod I simply won't be able to do without the ability to access the Python to change some of the Core Mechanics or at least to "over-ride" them for the Mod. We'll also need the plug-ins and associated animation tools to be able to import our custom animations for the custom models into the game.

Indeed I completely understand it will take a good deal of time for them to get these things too us, but with the "Moddability" of Elemental being one of the key aspects of the game its-self getting us these tools should be really high up on their priorities of "things to do". There are a Lot of really great Mods being planned out, and a Lot of Total Conversion Mods, that won't even be possible until we have these tools. Also we'll be getting a bunch of new Mod Content with the "60 Days Later Modding Package" and I imagine there's other Mod Makers out there like my-self who will be waiting for this package to see exactly what content we'll be getting for use in our Mods. I don't think any of us doing "Major Mods" want to bust our ass doing a lot of work just to have that work made obsolete by a Mod Package that's coming 2 months from now.

I'm really hoping I'll be able to get the Mod done and released before I have to go in for my upcoming Hospital stay which should be some time in the next 6 months (hopefully sooner). Of course the financial aid for the Health Department here goes super slow so it's highly possible I could kick the bucket before I get the mod done..LoL.

I guess it depends on how they are going to allocate their resources. I imagine migrating everything into Python will be a pain in the ass (not difficult, just tedious).

This is true. Also as we do know they Do put a high importance on modding and for us to have the ability to make really good mods. I'd guess they'd have the resources we need ready for us at about the time Frogboy's Mod comes out. See, they have to hold back the good stuff long enough for him to have time to show off with it, then we'll get our hands on it...lol. Hopefully it'll be something we get either with the "60 Day Mod Package" or possibly some time before. (seriously hoping for "before")
