Maybe a quiet weekend for a change...

Looking at my calendar I'm encouraged by the idea that, at least at the time I'm typing this note, I don't see anything scheduled for the weekend other than reminders that there is a NASCAR race to watch on Sunday afternoon.  This is the first time in many weeks that I'm not looking at having something going on, and actually will be the only "open" weekend for several weeks in a row after (if I'm thinking correctly).

Between events for me, and events for my daughter, and events with my family (parents and siblings), and such it looks like I'll wind up being fairly well occupied for the next few months after this.  Perhaps somewhere around Thanksgiving (actually not that late, just seems that way) I'll get another weekend off.  Oh well, at least the stuff that is planned should be entertaining and enjoyable, once I get wherever those events and activities are.
