Transparent Glass Boxes?

Is their a tutorial to make logons similar to the one i posted the link too?

I came upon this logon skin and was fascinated by its design. Here is the image.

My question now is how do i make a transparent glass box like that, I've looked all over online and could not find any proper tutorials, may someone tell me step by step or make a tutorial on how to make such a logon. Thank you for your help.

How to make a bitmap_128.bmp

 

Read that tutorial. The image you see is a bmp with alpha channel.

 

I'm looking for something else that will help you with the rest and I'll post the link when I find it (it's ages since I have done a "splash" type logon for XP).

That is a Splash style logon, not made using logonstudio, there is a template at DA, My very own logon

To edit this type of logon it must be done in the UIFILE in the logon folder, for the glass/trans splash it must be a 32 bit bitmap.

Boss019 uploaded this logon to DA Link a while ago.

After you make your bitmap_128.bmp, you can drop the new image into the folder to replace his. Do the same with your desired wallpaper. Note: the wallpaper must be a bitmap (jpg will not work).

What would the "script" be to have a power button and what is the script for positioning the user login box?

Tell ya what, download this logon LINK and compare the file to yours. You should be able to find the correct lines in there somewhere.
